On-Site Mobile Hearing Testing
We set up at your job. Crews stay at work. OSHA 29 CFR 1910.95 and MSHA 30 CFR Part 62.
Four tests at once
Audiometric testing in the mobile unit. Typically 16–20 employees per hour.
Monitored booths
Ambient noise is watched continuously with a bio-acoustic simulator so testing stays within OSHA and MSHA rules. Equipment meets or exceeds those specs.
Training included
Hearing conservation training is part of the visit, at no extra charge.
Why Companies Choose Mobile Testing
Keep Your Employees on the Job
When employees leave the job site for hearing testing, the cost is more than the clinic fee. There’s travel time, vehicle costs, mileage, scheduling, and lost production—and depending on the location, an employee may be away from the job for several hours.
With T&S, the testing comes to your job site. Employees walk from the job to the mobile unit, complete their testing and training, receive their results, and return to work without leaving the property.
Test More Employees in Less Time
Our mobile unit can test four employees at once, with a typical average of 16–20 employees per hour. That means less waiting, less disruption to your crew, and less time spent coordinating individual clinic appointments.
For larger jobs, Tim and Dakota can both be on site to help keep the testing process moving.
Reduce the Hidden Costs
Mobile testing can eliminate or reduce costs associated with:
- Employee travel to and from an off-site clinic
- Mileage, fuel, and company vehicles
- Paid time spent traveling and waiting
- Lost production while employees are away from the job
- Coordinating individual clinic appointments
- Pulling supervisors or foremen away from their regular duties
- Scheduling multiple employees around clinic availability
A Cost-Effective Alternative
On-site testing typically saves 30–75% compared with sending employees to an off-site clinic, depending on the location, number of employees, and travel involved.
T&S is also typically significantly more cost-effective than larger corporate mobile testing companies, while still providing professional review, OSHA/MSHA-compliant testing, training, reporting, and record management.
We Work Around Your Production Schedule
You don’t have to build your day around a clinic’s appointment schedule. We work with you to determine when and how testing can be done with the least disruption to your operation.
Whether you have 20 employees at one location or crews working across multiple states, we’ll coordinate the testing around your job.
LESS TRAVEL. LESS DOWNTIME. LESS DISRUPTION.
More importantly, your employees stay where they’re most productive—on the job.
A complete report goes to your Hearing Conservation program: findings, conclusions, and recommendations. Your safety representative gets a verbal briefing before we leave.
We test across the western United States. See Service Areas for the full list of states.
